- Book early in peak season. Weekends and the busiest weeks of the wedding season fill up fast, so confirm your van well ahead.
- Pre-cool before loading. The van should already be at the right temperature before anything goes in.
- Load last and in order. Load the most temperature-sensitive items last, and stack them in the order you’ll unload.
- Check venue access. Ask about service entrances, loading times and height limits, especially for high roof vans and basement car parks.
- Keep the doors closed. Open them only to load and unload. Every minute open lets warm air in.
- Hand over straight into cold storage. Don’t leave trays on a warm loading dock while setup finishes.
